Overview of SGImeeting

SGImeeting is a T.120 conferencing product that allows UNIX users to participate in multipoint conferences over the Internet and corporate intranets with:

. Windows 95, 98 or NT users running Microsoft NetMeeting
. other UNIX users running products based on SGImeeting, such as SunForum, SGImeeting or HP VISUALIZE CONFERENCE.
. PictureTel LiveShare Plus
. Netopia Timbuktu Pro
. other T.120 compliant conferencing products such as Polycom ShowStation.

The version of SGImeeting which you have installed enables you to

. share applications
. share drawings and ideas with the Whiteboard
. exchange text messages using Chat
. exchange files using file transfer
. exchange data using the shared clipboard
. locate and contact other users easily with a directory.

If you have installed the SGImeeting whiteboard plugins, you can also:

. display a still or dynamically updated video image in the whiteboard
. display a still or dynamically updated area of your screen in the whiteboard
. use arrows for annotation and dimension indicators on the whiteboard
. use a drag-and-drop symbol palette to expedite whiteboard communications
