No CD in CD-ROM Drive

The CD-ROM Confidence test requires a CD in the CD-ROM drive. The test attempts to read data from the CD. Verify that you have a CD in the CD-ROM drive and try the test again. If you had a CD in the drive, try shutting down the system, power cycling the CD-ROM drive, and powering on the system. Then repeat the test. If the test still does not recognize the CD, try using another CD, and verify that there are no system error messages. System error messaged are logged to /var/adm/SYSLOG. The log file can be accessed through the desktop View System Log facility. If there are no messages, retry the CD-ROM Confidence test.
