Cannot Add Swap Space

This message occurs when the system could not add the necessary swap space. If this operation failed the system may have insufficient swap space to continue operating properly. This message should only be seen at boot-up time.

To resolve this situation, use the hinv command to verify that the device used for swapping is seen by the system.

Check the system log file by selecting “System Manager” from the “System” menu of the Toolchest. Then select “System Performance” and “View System Log.”
