NFS Duplicate Transaction Cache Exceeded

The following message indicates that the kernel table used to discard duplicate NFS transactions was temporarily full:

The svc_maxdupreqs table is used to keep track of recently seen NFS transactions so if an NFS server receives a duplicate transaction from an NFS client it can discard it. Duplicate transactions are not normally sent, but if they are they should not be re-executed. This is the purpose of this cache.

This message is not a fatal error, but it can indicate that your NFS performance has been degraded somewhat. This parameter can be changed by an experienced System Administrator by using systune -i to change the svc_maxdupreqs parameter.

If the problem persists, contact your System Administrator or your service provider.
