The Contents/Search pane in the left half of the SGIHelp Viewer window contains a clickable list of all the help topics available for an application. If the pane is not visible, click the button to the left of the Contents/Search label on the bottom of the window, or choose File > Contents/Search.
To open a help topic, double-click it.
To expand and contract topics in the Contents list, click on the diamond to the left of the topic.
When you perform a search, topics containing relevant hits appear highlighted in the list and markers appear in the scroll bar to the right of the list. To view a document containing a search hit, double-click on a highlighted topic. For more information on searching, see “Searching”.
